Websites – apparently they’ll let anyone have one these days.
They don’t come without their hassles though. All of the software we used was supposed to be ‘plug and play’ and shouldn’t have taken more than five minutes to instal “Download & Install WordPress with our famous 5-minute installation. Feel like a rock star.” said www.wordpress.org
Five days later though, here we are and still married and definately don’t feel like rock stars, who argauably don’t have to build their own websites.
Anyway, if accepted convention must be followed, I think we are required to state the purpose of this blog to the 6 or 7 people we expect to read it. We are heading around Australia – eventually. Anyway you can read it on the internet, so it must be true.
Along the way we’ll hopefully tell you what is happening, how it is happening and maybe even why it is happening. If we can work out how to do it we will even include photo’s and other cool stuff like that. Sounds like fun right. We hope so too.
Cheers

I am so excited to read about your adventures… You see there is something in “refection” it doesn’t matter how you do it. As we process our experiences through writing, drawing, photos or retelling stories we make connections to life lessons, this is the richest kind of learning. I believe that every soul longs for adventure the simple delight of seeing, smelling, touching, hearing or tasting something different. New experiences deepen our understanding of ourselves, others and the world in which we live. It is not enough to simply read about the adventures of others… your stories will inspire others to experience the blessing of God’s creation and I can’t wait to hear the tales and trials. I am sure we will all grow from this journey.
Shell, keep writing comments like that and you are going to become very popular in the Batty household. We can’t wait to share our stories and hope to hear a couple in return
