Congratulations and Thank You!!!

Not sure if you worked it out or not, but our return trip to Sydney wasnt just for the pure pleasure of seeing all our friends again. We had some very important business to attend to which included the wedding of a friend we have known since high school and also meeting our brand new niece, Zalia Fay Batty, for the very first time. And so…

A very big (very belated) congratulations to our friends Matt and Mel on their wedding. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining like it was Spring. Mel looked absolutely stunning and Matt looked like he couldn’t be more thrilled. Thank you for a great day and an awesome afternoon tea. I know River was especially appreciative of the pink heart lolly pops!

A massive thank you to our beautiful new niece Zalia for waiting until we arrived in Sydney to be born (we arrived Saturday, she arrived Tuesday). What a beautiful, precious little gift you are. Congratulations Tom and Madeline!!!!

We would also like to thank all our friends and family for making the effort to come and see us while we were in town and especially if you provided some form of sustenance! I think we each put on about 5 kgs while we were home thanks to you. It was awesome. We have really missed having company since we’ve been away so it was really great to catch up and spend time with people we know.

Thanks again and we hope you continue to enjoy our Batty Tales.
